This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial and federal laws of Canada.

By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1.4 Uploaded Content

  • Documents, attachments, artwork, dielines
  • Compliance certificates, images, and messages

1.5 Payment & Commission Data

  • Transaction values for audit and commission calculation
  • Payment information for Suppliers (processed through secure third-party processors)

We do not store raw credit card numbers or banking credentials.

  • Issuing Supplier commission invoices
  • Enforcing non-circumvention obligations

2.3 Security & Fraud Prevention

  • Monitoring Platform integrity and misuse
  • Detecting suspicious or fraudulent activities
  • Enforcing our Terms & Conditions

2.4 Platform Improvement

  • Enhancing features, workflows, and user experience
  • Conducting analytics and performance assessments

2.5 Legal & Compliance Requirements

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Laibl shares information only in the following circumstances:

3.1 Between Brands and Suppliers

Information relevant to a project (e.g., specifications, quotes, contact details) is shared to facilitate potential or active business engagements between the two parties.

3.2 Service Providers

We engage third-party service providers to perform functions such as:

  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure
  • Data storage and backups
  • Payment and invoice processing
  • Email and communication utilities

All such providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

3.3 Legal or Regulatory Requirements

We may disclose information when required to comply with:

  • subpoenas or court orders
  • governmental investigations
  • applicable laws or regulations

3.4 Business Transfers

If Laibl undergoes a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to continued privacy protection.

Where this occurs, data is subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is stored, which may allow government authorities certain access rights.

Laibl ensures that all cross-border transfers meet PIPEDA requirements for adequate protection.

  • comply with legal obligations,
  • enforce our Terms (including non-circumvention and commission obligations),
  • support dispute resolution,
  • maintain Platform integrity.

Information related to Originated Transactions is retained for a minimum of three (3) years for audit purposes.

  • Request corrections to inaccurate information
  • Withdraw consent (subject to contractual obligations)
  • Request information about Laibl's data-handling practices
